Moving out Sadness & Grief

Sadness and grief are two emotions that many people don’t feel comfortable feeling.

They are painful and sometimes all consuming so it’s no wonder we tend to avoid feeling them but what if I told you that not feeling them has some even more painful consequences.

Holding onto these emotions can cause lots of unwanted symptoms and ultimately lead to coping patterns and dis-ease that aren’t serving you. Even those of us who have learned to feel sadness often still don’t give it enough space. We will try to see the bright side or look for the silver lining before we’ve had to the opportunity to learn from the sadness.

Sadness and Grief teach us a lot about how deeply we can feel, the dualities that live in our emotions and what matters the most to us. These emotions hold great power as long as we allow them to be as they are.

I’ve found so many people are trying to change the sadness. They will try to turn it into something positive and pride themselves on letting in only good vibes but they are doing themselves a disservice by not letting the sadness and the grief have it’s space.

So, even though I’ll be teaching you a way to engage your heart chakra to move sadness and grief out I highly recommend that you also sit with the sadness.

Be there for yourself with the sadness.

Let the sadness be seen and felt.

Journal about it. Hug yourself. Let the sadness just be.

And I recommend you do that regularly to let yourself get used to what being sad feels like.

Get in the practice of giving it space.

When the sadness has had it’s space and not a second before that - watch this video and learn how to let it move out.

If you need more assistance with giving emotions space or learning how to move them out, join me for a donation based energy guidance session so we can work together on what you are facing.
